Wood and P-W-F Rustification (Reveal)

In solid wood or composite polymer (P-W-F) materials, it is revealing to see all the sizes and shapes that Sylvan offers. The most common sizes are shown in the chart below.

Rustification has become an important architectural detail for accentuating horizontal or vertical seams and joints in "cast-in-place" or tilt-up construction. It is also an inexpensive, yet attractive way to create custom geometric patterns in concrete, either to accent or replace form liners. In recent years, composite reveals have far outsold solid wood reveal due to their low prices, low sugaring, and smooth results.

For more immediate shipments, please refer to our line of Poly-Comp^® Plastic Rustification that comes in a variety of sizes for an ultra-smooth finish that requires little or no patching, grinding, or sacking. Due to the large scale production of this recycled plastic, the prices of Poly-Comp and P-W-F Reveal are usually less than wood with quicker shipping times.

Standard Sizes
NOTE: Solid wood patterns are available in standard lengths of 8', 10', 12', 14' and 16'. P-W-F patterns are available primarily in 8' and 10' lengths.
